IMPACT Annual Youth Forum

The Annual IMPACT Youth Forum is designed to equip students with the necessary tool-kit for becoming well-rounded students and proponents of social activism in their communities. Attendees will learn how to seek out and take advantage of opportunities in the school setting that allow them to broaden their non-academic interests and set career goals for themselves early on in the game. In addition they will network with peers from private and public academic institutions as well as successful young Nigerian professionals working in Nigeria and other regions of the world. The 6th IMPACT Youth forum will take place in December 2011.

The Annual IMPACT Youth Forum is the first institutionalized program undertaken by The IMPACT Initiative. We created this event to address the following problems:
• The fact that there are thousands of Nigerians at home and abroad who continuously settle for mediocre circumstances as a result of poor academic and professional planning.
• The minimal importance placed on the potential Impact of the individual’s social contributions in the community.
