The IMPACT team is made up of full-time executive members, part-time volunteers and an advisory board, all characterized by a wealth of global experiences but a common passion to enhance the average Nigerian’s capacity to impact our society.

JEMINE REWANE
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Jemine Rewane, IMPACT’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer, is the Business Analyst to the Worldwide Merchandising Director at Gucci in Milan. Prior to this, she was an investment-banking analyst at UBS Investment Bank in New York and Milan, and spent a year working in private equity in London.
Jemine holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from University of Chicago. She is an alumna of Corona Primary School and Corona Secondary School.
In 2004, she organized a Conference sponsored by the University of Chicago’s International Relations Department entitled “Africa’s Dilemma: What next?” The conference examined the impact of the International Monetary fund on the economic and political state of sub-Saharan Africa, and was the first of its kind to be hosted at the University.
While at the University of Chicago, Jemine served as a mentor to female teenagers in Chicago’s public school system as a member of FORTITUDE.
Among many interests, Jemine is particularly passionate about creating opportunities for personal and professional growth while promoting leadership development. It is this interest that has led to the establishment of the IMPACT Initiative, through which she intends to contribute to her home country.
MISAN REWANE, Co-founder & Chief Operating Officer
Misan is a policy consultant at the Centre for Public Policy Alternatives, a Lagos-based policy think tank and consultancy, which she joined in September 2010. Prior to this, she worked as a management consultant with The Monitor Group in New York and London for 3 years, where she gained a broad experience advising government, for-profit, and nonprofit clients in strategy and implementation. More recently, Misan spent a 6-month sabbatical working as a volunteer consultant for TechnoServe’s Business Plan Competition in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, supporting young Ivoirian entrepreneurs in expanding their businesses.
Misan is a graduate of Stanford University, where she received a BA in Economics (Honours). She completed her primary and secondary education in Nigeria at Corona School V/I and Lagoon Secondary School respectively, before completing her A-levels at Badminton School, Bristol.
Among many interests, Misan is particularly passionate about creating solutions to social challenges regarding education and is currently involved in the setting up of a scholarship administration social enterprise.
Through The IMPACT Initiative, she hopes to bring Nigerian youth in contact with the knowledge, inspiration, and mentorship that will enable them become effective leaders of tomorrow.
MELODY FAYOMI, Chief Financial Officer
Melody Fayomi joined IMPACT in 2009 as a volunteer at the 3rd IMPACT Youth Forum and has since become an executive member of the organization. Melody currently works as a Financial Advisory analyst at Radix Capital Partners Ltd in Lagos where she provides strategic advice to clients with M&A, privatization, restructuring and risk management needs. Prior to this role Melody worked in the Corporate Banking division of Oceanic Bank.
Melody began her career after graduating from North Carolina State University with a BSC in Electrical Engineering. While at NC State, she co-founded the Inter Varsity African Student Association (IVASA), which is now a US-nationwide coalition of African American student organizations. Prior to NC State, she attended Atlantic Hall Secondary school and Queens College, Yaba. In addition to giving back through initiatives like IMPACT, Melody is passionately involved in the youth ministry in her church.
ADABARA ABDULLAHI, Chief Information & Technology Officer
Adabara Abudullahi, joined IMPACT in 2007 as Chief Information Officer, responsible for leveraging the use of Technology to help IMPACT meet its objectives more efficiently. He currently works as a Investment Banker at Barclays Plc in London. Prior to this role Adabara worked as a Project Manager after successfully completed the Bank’s graduate leadership program, earmarked for the brightest graduates the UK has to offer.
He graduated from Middlesex University in London with a First Class Honours in Computing Science in 2007. Prior to enrolling at Middlesex, he attended Corona Primary School Victoria Island Lagos and Ronik Secondary school Lagos. Given his strong entrepreneurial mindset, he started an internet Company – Adabara Designs, which caters to the Digital needs of primarily Small to Medium sized companies. Adabara’s interests include playing sports and watching movies. He is also passionate about exploiting the power of Technology to solve business problems.
ADAOBI OSAKWE, Chief Marketing Officer
Ada Osakwe, recently completed her MBA program at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, where she majored in Finance, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, and Marketing.
Prior to Kellogg, she was a Senior Investment Officer in the Infrastructure Finance team at the African Development Bank, Tunisia, where she also served in various finance functions over four years. She began her career as a debt capital markets analyst with BNP Paribas Investment Bank, London. Ada also worked with Actis, the Emerging Markets-focused Private Equity Fund as an Associate. Ada holds an MSc in Economics and Finance from the University of Warwick, U.K. and a BSc. in Economics (First Class Honors) from the University of Hull, U.K., where she was awarded the Groves Gift in Economics. She is the founder of The SHAPE Initiative, a non-profit agency for female youths launched in Tunisia, and one of the founding members of IMPACT, a youth development organization in Nigeria. In 2008, Ada was named one of the ‘Top 40 under 40 Nigerian Female Professionals’ by NiPro.
Ada joined IMPACT as a result of her passion to empower youths, and her belief that effective mentorship of young individuals is crucial to the choices they go on to make in life.
YEMI ADAMOLEKUN, Volunteer
Yemi Adamolekun is an independent consultant in Lagos, Nigeria. With degrees from the University of Virginia, the London School of Economics and Oxford University’s Said Business School, ‘Yemi has worked for over 10 years in the private and public sectors in the USA and Nigeria.
She serves as a volunteer for the Kudirat Initiative for Democracy (KIND) and Kaleyewa House, an NGO focused on the elderly. She also sits on the board of Bridge Nigeria, an NGO that seeks to connect Nigerians in the diaspora with opportunities to use their expertise in Nigeria. Yemi currently serves as theInterim Executive Secretary of the “Enough is Enough Nigeria Coalition” (EiE).
